Meet the President

Pam Pound specializes in working with financial and professional service firms, internal service teams, and service professionals who want to produce extraordinary results both for themselves and their clients.

Prior to founding Pinnacle Success Partners, Inc., Pam spent more than 30 years in the financial services arena as a salesperson, an expert on complex risk management issues, and a senior executive with a major insurance broker.

As a risk management consultant and advisor, Pam worked with a diverse and challenging group of clients—from privately-owned start-ups to internationally-prominent public companies. As she worked with clients to understand their most important business concerns, she transformed her relationship with them from “outside technical expert” to “strategic thought partner.” In that capacity, Pam developed an insider’s understanding of how firms operate, where they get stuck, and how they regain momentum.

As an operational leader, Pam trained and mentored professional staff, managed retail client service and back office operations, and helped lead her company through the transition from private to public ownership. She built a reputation for combining highly evolved analytical skills with the ability to engage colleagues and staff in embracing change and elevating their performance.

Pam has an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar, a certified executive coach, and a certified behavioral analyst. Pam also delivers and coaches the Building High Values Relationships™ Workshop, a unique educational program which changes not only the “rules of engagement” for working with others; it changes the game itself. Top corporations have validated that application of the Building High Value Relationships™ principles leads to significantly greater effectiveness, productivity, and value to clients.

Pam’s professional affiliations include membership in the Chicago Organizational Development Institute, membership in the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and work with the Chicago Coaching Federation. She has served on the boards of the Executive Networking Group of Chicago, Evanston Historical Society’s Women’s Board, and the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women. She has been President of the Northwestern University Kellogg Women’s Professional Association and currently volunteers with the Executive Service Corps of Chicago.
