The program:
Learn the simple yet profound process for becoming a key strategic resource for your internal and external clients. Building High Value Relationships™ (BHVR) changes not only the “rules of engagement” for working with others; it changes the game itself. The BHVR process separates you from the pack of well-meaning yet exhausted “nice guys” and moves you into the inner circle of trusted and valued partners.
In this very experiential program, participants work through customized business simulations while practicing the core principles. They walk away with the ability to immediately begin introducing highly effective principles and perspectives to current business opportunities and challenges.

Refresh and Renew: A Leadership Retreat
The Program:
Step away from the mechanics of running a business to

- renew connections with business partners and other members of your leadership team, and
- jointly recommit to your future path.
Each group of leaders has unique history, opportunities, and challenges. Based on pre-retreat meetings with each individual participant, we will customize a program to move you powerfully forward with energy, high-level teamwork, and commitment.

Follow up coaching can be included to focus on specific issues or developmental opportunities.

The Program
While emphasis will shift from engagement to engagement, all of our team-building programs include:
- discussion and engagement around five fundamental team values: trust, diversity, respect, accountability, results.
- alignment around a specific purpose, which can be determined either externally before the workshop or as part of the program
- creation of goals, priorities, accountabilities
- creation of “working rules” that govern interaction among team members and the commitments they make to each other
- self-managed mechanisms for maintaining focus and momentum
- team behavioral style assessment and analysis with focus on leveraging each person’s strengths
Designed for:
- existing teams that want to refocus their energy and collectively redefine opportunities and priorities
- existing teams that are not delivering high-value results
- new teams being formed to support growth and/or new initiatives, i.e., new leadership teams, new management teams, new project teams

Time:
The program itself runs 1-2 days. Depending on the target outcome, pre-meetings with team members may be appropriate.
Follow Up:
Our goal is to have the team self-manage. In some cases, clients find it helpful to regularly revisit the purpose, goals, and milestones with the help of an outside facilitator.
Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers

Pedal to the Floor: Strategic Planning for Breakthrough Results
The program:
We combine traditional strategic planning principles with a team-building approach that engages and energizes participants to think big and then make it happen.
We will address and define all of the following key elements:
Vision: Where’s the company going—what is the compelling future that calls the group to action?
Values: What’s most important about achieving that particular vision and why was it chosen over other possibilities?
Guiding Principles: What value-based criteria will be used in making decisions on how and where to move towards the bigger vision?
Goals: What specific measurement(s) will be used to track progress and allow the team to make necessary in-course corrections?
Strategies: What, specifically, will be done (by whom and by when) in order to move the team towards its goals?
Accountability: What process is needed to assure continued focus on the vision, goals, and strategies even when setbacks occur?

Leaders and managers responsible for guiding the company
Time:
This depends on whether or not the firm’s mission, values, and guiding principles need to be created, revisited, or reaffirmed. In general, the time frame will be 1-2 days.
Follow Up:
When companies fail to achieve their goals, it is often the result of poor follow through on action plans. The group can best determine what follow up is appropriate—internal or external. We are happy to support whatever plan is designed.

The Program
In this interactive program, you will:

- Discover the extent to which your current every-day activities enhance your value to the organization and support your career objectives;
- Discover or reconnect with the factors that determine the level of satisfaction and fulfillment you experience in your career;
- Identify resources and opportunities to increase your effectiveness in your current role and support your professional development and advancement;
- Develop a prioritized action plan for enhancing performance in your current role and for moving towards the next career objective,
Each participant receives a customized behavioral assessment to support the learning in the program.
